Job summary

Zeeco, Inc. is seeking a Welding Supervisor to lead day shift welders in the heavy fabrication bay and set an example for safety, quality, and productivity. You will oversee tool box talks, monitor capacity, and ensure timely, accurate documentation while coordinating with supervision on job progress and ITP compliance.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to Zeeco Quality Standards, and collaboration with engineering and support teams to deliver high-quality fabricated components.

Qualifications

• Possess technical and welding knowledge; heavy fab experience preferred.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with personnel.
• Ability to work under stress and handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to job requirements.
• Maintain and process job-related paperwork effectively.
• Interpret blueprints and Zeeco inspection test plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead day shift welders in the heavy fabrication bay by example.
• Hold toolbox talks during each shift.
• Monitor area capacity and load daily.
• Monitor quality of product.
• Submit X-Ray checklists after welds.
• Prepare and oversee repair checklist and procedure when required.
• Review job-specific ITPs; advise hold points and X-Ray needs.
• Review released drawings for issues before fabrication.
• Ensure employees have drawings and information needed.
• Maintain safety as a focus for all employees.
• Assign work and monitor progress; provide tools, guidance, and training.
