Qualifications

• Current CPR certification and ongoing certifications as required.
• Nursing degree from a CNA program and related licensure.
• Ability to think and communicate effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Certifications in Medication Tech, First Aid, Mandt and OSHA during 90-day probation and maintained thereafter.
• Adherence to LIFE Incorporated policies including DDA trainings and iCare manager training.
• Clean driving record and compliance with termination conditions for driving privileges.

Responsibilities

• Groom, bathe patients with low mobility and assist with feeding and medications.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent discomfort.
• Monitor vital signs, report changes to RN and medical staff.
• Obtain information about plans of treatment from healthcare providers.
• Change bed linens, restock supplies, and maintain room cleanliness.
• Perform CIC under RN supervision after required training.
• Build professional relationships with patients, families and team members.
• Performs DSP and other duties as assigned.
