Qualifications

• CPR certification required (American Heart Association).
• Nursing degree from a CNA program required.
• Ability to work independently with staff communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications: Medication Technician, CPR & First Aid, Mandt and OSHA during probation and maintained thereafter.
• DDA trainings per LIFE Incorporated policies.
• iCare manager training or equivalent as needed.
• Driving record of 2 points or less.

Responsibilities

• Groom, and bathe patients with low mobility.
• Assist individuals with eating and taking medications as needed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers from wheelchair to bed.
• Adjust and position individuals to prevent bedsores or discomfort.
• Monitor vital signs and weight; report changes to nurse.
• Obtain information about conditions and treatment plans from providers.
• Check daily physical conditions and report changes to nurse.
• Change sheets and restock room supplies.
• Perform CIC under RN supervision after training and demonstrations.
• Build relationships with individuals, families, and team members.
• Perform DSP and related duties as assigned.
