Job summary

D & D Construction LLC is seeking a skilled Handyman/Carpenter to join our growing team in Allentown, PA. This hands-on role will tackle a variety of residential and commercial projects, delivering craftsmanship on every job.

Responsibilities include framing, trim, doors, windows, finish carpentry, repairs, reading blueprints, installing cabinetry, flooring, drywall, and troubleshooting issues. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in carpentry, general construction, or handyman services.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow project plans.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various conditions.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry work including framing, trim, doors, windows, and finish carpentry
• Complete general handyman repairs and maintenance tasks for residential and commercial clients
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and project specifications
• Install cabinetry, flooring, drywall, and other structural or cosmetic components
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with existing structures and recommend solutions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times
• Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and team members on job progress
