Job summary

Nurse Next Door San Jose is hiring Caregivers to deliver flexible, premium at-home care for seniors. We offer morning to overnight shifts with 10–40 hours per week and no experience required. Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving is asset, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship and personal care.
• Follow the client7s care plan and assist with ADLs.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
• Complete records and documentation accurately.

HCA CERTIFICATION AND FINGERPRINTING REQUIRED (can do that while hiring process is being completed)

TB Test Required

Shifts 9am-10am start (4hrs) 5days a week (20hr client)

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care.

Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.

Help clients with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) that is within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.

Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.

Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.

Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description.

Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements

Previous caregiving experience is an asset not a requirement.

Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset.
