Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as bricklayer in residential construction.
• Apprenticeship training or masonry certification preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and building plans.
• Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units per project specs.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and plans.
• Mix and apply mortar with proper bonding and alignment.
• Construct walls, partitions, chimneys, fireplaces, and decorative stonework.
• Repair and maintain existing brickwork and masonry structures.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and contractors to meet deadlines.
• Adhere to health and safety standards.
