Job summary

Strategic Connections is seeking a Level 2 – Low Voltage Audio/Video Technician II to install and service AV systems in Raleigh, NC. The role requires installing structured cabling, mounting AV hardware, and reading wiring diagrams to ensure precise setups.

You will read blueprints, perform cable testing, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with customers and other trades on-site while maintaining accurate project documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of low-voltage or AV installation experience.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Experience with cable testing equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate structured cabling systems.
• Mount and connect AV equipment, displays, projectors, speakers, and control devices.
• Read blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.
• Conduct cable certification and testing.
• Troubleshoot basic system issues.
• Coordinate with customers and other trades on-site.
• Maintain project documentation and as-built drawings.
