Job summary

Paycom - ATS in the United States is seeking a Technician C with solid mechanical knowledge to service brakes, rotors, oil changes, and related tasks. You will educate customers on preventive maintenance and uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities include analyzing issues, road testing when needed, keeping work areas clean, and documenting all work. Must be able to read diagrams and communicate clearly; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine tickets, notes and other correspondence.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from customers.
• Valid Driver's License; State Emission Certification if applicable in your state; State Vehicle Inspector Certification if applicable.
• Tools and a toolbox on site are required.
• Ability to work in cramped spaces and lift/tool handling; good vision for diagrams and color-coded wiring.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection.
• Performs repairs and services (brakes, rotors, fluids, oil changes, transmission, differential, cooling system, tires).
• Road tests vehicles as needed and communicates results to customers.
• Documents work performed and recommended; keeps shop areas neat and organized.
• Notifies management of any damage or safety issues and complies with safety regulations.
