Job summary

The Boyd Group in Biloxi, MS is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will thoroughly disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while supporting our speed, quality, and customer-excellence promise.

Work with a team to plan repair work, prepare estimates, and complete tasks within labor time guidelines. A high school diploma or equivalent and a technical background are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan and prepare repair work and estimates for customers.
• Repair sections of a vehicle using various tools.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove/replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Replace or repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, repaint vehicles to spec.
• Verify work within labor time guidelines and inspect finished vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
