Job summary

Stellar Industries Inc. in Iowa is seeking an assembler to join the team. Assemble finished products and follow directives from Lead Person or Supervisor.

Basic hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical aptitude is helpful, and reading blueprints and various measuring devices is required. Basic computer skills are a plus but not necessary. This role requires standing for most of the shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and climbing ladders as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior assembly experience.
• Read blueprints/work orders.
• Basic manufacturing background and mechanical aptitude.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Exceptional Attendance.
• Be able to climb ladders, sitting/standing as needed to do job tasks.
• Be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. at times as required by job.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Assemble finished products and/or other work as directed by Lead Person or Supervisor.
• Read and follow work orders and technical documents required by the job.
• Operate and maintain equipment following safety rules.
• Support team to ensure timely completion of orders and high quality workmanship.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, and follow company policies.
