Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an assembler to read specifications and blueprints, assemble parts to spec, and install hardware. You will insulate panels and complete required paperwork while using rivet guns and hand tools in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Reading specification sheets and blueprints to identify parts.
• Assemble parts to specification per documented processes.
• Install hardware and other purchased parts as specified.
• Complete appropriate paperwork and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Identify proper parts to complete assemblies by reading specification sheet and blueprints.
• Assemble parts to specification.
• Install hardware and other purchased parts into assembly per specification.
• Insulate panels as described on specification sheet.
• Complete appropriate paperwork.
• Utilize rivet gun, air gun, knife, welding and other hand tools to perform duties.
• Assist others in the performances of their duties.
• Bridge crane or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
