Job summary

Staker Parson Companies, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled equipment operator for asphalt paving operations. You will safely operate multiple machines, ensure proper thickness and drainage, and maintain a quality finished product.

You will supervise crew activities, review production goals, train new team members, and stage equipment for transport. The position requires reading instructions, basic math, and strong safety awareness, with day and night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to read simple instructions and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain asphalt paving equipment.
• Provide a quality product meeting thickness, compaction, drainage and workmanship standards.
• Supervise and coordinate crew activities, review production schedules, and estimate work requirements.
• Inspect day’s work for quality and proper drainage.
• Train and mentor new crew members; participate in training programs.
• May labor at various job sites and assist with laying pipe and utility lines when needed.
