Job summary

DynaFire in Jacksonville seeks an Installation Technician to support fire alarm, security, and low voltage system installations. You will read blueprints, install detectors, cameras, and door contacts under supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of installation experience in fire alarm industry.
• NICET Level I certification; Level II within 12 months.
• Participation in required DynaFire-sponsored training.
• May train others in DynaFire-sponsored training.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and determine material needs for low voltage systems.
• Install components such as detectors, pull stations, cameras, and door contacts.
• Install installation sites and study work orders, plans, and manuals under PM/foreman supervision.
• Meet installation deadlines as described by PM/foreman.
• Direct other installers when requested by PM/foreman.
• Communicate effectively with AHJ.

Education

NICET Level I certific.

NICET Level II certification within 12 months
