EE Reed Construction - East Coast in Herndon, VA invites DoD SkillBridge interns for Construction Project Management/Field Operations. Active-duty military members qualify for the DoD SkillBridge program.

Join our team to support day-to-day construction operations, coordinate with superintendents and trade partners, assist with scheduling, and help deliver safe, high-quality projects on time and within budget. Training provided by Vets2PM with growth potential into PM roles after the internship.

Qualifications

• Active-duty military members eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program.
• Experience in construction project management, field operations, or skilled trades.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and proactively solve problems.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a project-based environment.
• Proficiency with construction drawings and basic project documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day construction operations from preconstruction through project closeout
• Coordinate with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and trade partners
• Assist with project scheduling, planning, and sequencing of work
• Monitor field activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements
• Track progress, identify potential issues, and help implement solutions in real time
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Participate in meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors
• Contribute to a positive job-site culture built on teamwork, accountability, and respect

Applicants mustbe active-duty U.S. Military Members who qualifyfor the DoD SkillBridge Program.

E.E. Reed Construction is seeking motivated and experiencedconstruction professionals to join our East Coast team. We welcome candidateswith backgrounds in project management, field engineering, supervision, orskilled trades who are interested in growing their careers within acollaborative, high-performance construction environment.

This role supports project teams throughout the constructionprocess and plays a key part in delivering safe, high-quality projects on timeand within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day construction operations frompreconstruction through project closeout
