SimVentions DoD SkillBridge Internship Program is a paid internship designed for active duty service members transitioning to civilian careers. The program connects service members with industry partners for hands-on training in Technology, Innovation, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Modeling and Simulation, and Cybersecurity.

As an installation or unit commander, you can help bridge the gap to civilian careers by approving SkillBridge participation, enabling 180 days of permissive

Qualifications

• Currently serving as an Active Duty military service member and eligible for the SkillBridge program.
• STEM degree or equivalent knowledge is preferred for internship.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and support cross-functional teams during the internship.
• Contribute to projects involving research, analysis, and reporting.
• Participate in team meetings and provide input based on military background and expertise.
• Gain experience with technologies, tools, or processes relevant to the role.
• Develop professional skills in communication, leadership, and problem-solving.
