St. Catherine's Center for Children in Albany, NY seeks a Skill Builder to provide Psycho-Social Rehabilitation services to youth within the CFTSS program.

The role supports youth in home, school or community settings, aiming to improve mental health, functioning and independence, with a focus on building skills and resilience. Candidates must have a Bachelor's in social work or related field, or a high school diploma with 2 years of relevant experience; strong communication, driving license,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Or HS diploma/GED with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work with diverse youth and families.

Responsibilities

• Engage youth and families with 1-1 teaching, psychoeducation and coaching.
• Provide services per the Treatment/Service Plan following CFTSS regulations.
• Communicate with providers and families to advocate for youth needs.
• Document service delivery in the electronic health record.
• Travel locally to provide services in home, school or community settings.
