Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of skid steer operation experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pass pre-employment screening and background check.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends and overtime.
• Wear PPE in designated areas.
• Strong attention to detail and stress tolerance.
• 2–5 years experience in skid steer or related construction/mining work.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate skid steer loaders to lift, load, and move materials.
• Use attachments (buckets, forks, augers) to complete different tasks.
• Prepare sites by clearing debris and grading.
• Maintain equipment, ensuring it is clean, fueled, and functioning properly.
• Load and unload materials from trucks or other transportation vehicles.
• Transport materials around the job site.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and report issues or malfunctions.
• Coordinate with workers and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Communicate progress and issues with the team.
• Maintain logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
• Stay updated on new equipment, attachments, and techniques.
• Participate in training sessions and certifications as required.
• Assist with other tasks as needed.
