Pave America is seeking a skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our team in Ohio. The ideal candidate will have experience operating skid steer loaders for site preparation, material handling, and general maintenance, while adhering to safety protocols.

You will operate attachments, perform pre-operational checks, and coordinate with crew to complete tasks efficiently. The role requires reliability, good communication, and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have 3 years previous skid steer experience.
• Pass pre-employment screen and criminal background check.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
• 2-5 years experience as skid steer operator or related construction/mining work.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate skid steer loaders to lift, load, and move materials.
• Use attachments (buckets, forks, augers) for various tasks.
• Prepare sites by clearing debris and grading ground.
• Maintain equipment, keep it clean, fueled, and functional.
• Load/unload materials from trucks and transport around site.
• Coordinate with workers and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and report issues.
• Maintain logs or reports of equipment usage and incidents.
