Job summary

Pavement Partners Cincinnati LLC is seeking a skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate skid steer loaders and handle site preparation, material handling, and general maintenance while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, using attachments, performing pre-operational checks, and coordinating with coworkers to ensure efficient completion of projects.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have 3 years previous experience.
• Pass pre-employment screen and criminal background check.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Wear PPE in designated operations and production areas.
• 2-5 years experience as skid steer operator or related.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate skid steer loaders to lift, load, and move materials.
• Use attachments to accomplish different tasks.
• Prepare sites by clearing debris and grading the ground.
• Maintain equipment, ensuring it is clean, fueled, and functioning properly.
• Load and unload materials from trucks or other transportation vehicles.
• Transport materials around the job site.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for a safe working environment.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and report any issues or malfunctions.
• Coordinate with other workers and supervisors to ensure efficient task completion.
• Communicate progress, issues, and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain logs or reports of equipment usage, maintenance, and incidents.
• Stay updated on new equipment, attachments, and techniques.
• Participate in training sessions and certifications as required.
• Assist with other tasks as needed.
