Job summary

Alterra is hiring for a seasonal shuttle and guest services role in Steamboat Springs, CO. You will greet guests, assist with ski valet, transport equipment, and coordinate storage while delivering a high level of hospitality.

Yo u will liaise with drivers and guest services, handle luggage and gear, answer inquiries, and ensure safety and compliance with company policies. This position emphasizes teamwork and guest satisfaction in a resort setting.

Qualifications

• 2 years of previous work history/education required.
• Communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written.
• Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company’s Service Excellence standards.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists owners and guests, and coordinates ski valet; transports ski to and from the property and organizes storage.
• Serve as the liaison between guests/owners and all guest service agents/shuttle drivers for ski and snowboard equipment storage, pickup, and drop-off.
• Assist with bell duties such as loading equipment, luggage, and groceries.
• Answer inquiries about resort services; register guests; provide travel directions, dining, entertainment options.
• Provide shuttle service when required, ensuring safe transport for guests/owners and handling luggage/equipment.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
