Job summary

Christy Sports in Colorado's mountains is seeking a Repair Tech to join our workshop. You’ll tune, repair, and mount skis and snowboards while providing top-notch service and building trust with guests on the sales floor. Training and mentorship are offered, and you’ll work with a team that shares a passion for the outdoors.

Expect $20–$25/hour plus commission. You’ll be part of a dynamic retail operation with employee ski passes and generous discounts, supporting your growth in the outdoor

Qualifications

• Strong ski or snowboard background and a love for the sport.
• Self-motivated, able to multitask, and detail oriented.
• Comfortable with POS systems (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Eagerness to learn - we’re happy to train the right candidate who is excited about learning the trade!

Responsibilities

• Build trust with guests by providing accurate information and excellent service.
• Assess when skis or snowboards need tuning or repair and recommend the best service option.
• Perform ski and snowboard tuning: sharpening, waxing, mounting, drilling, and more.
• Maintain accurate pricing and ensure promotions are up to date.
• Keep the workshop clean, organized, and operating safely.
• Follow all Christy Sports safety standards and procedures in the repair shop.
• Monitor inventory and stay on top of industry trends and technology.
• Support teammates and pitch in with other duties as needed.
