Christy Sports is seeking a Repair Technician to work on the PM shift, delivering top-notch ski and snowboard repair services. You’ll tune edges, wax, and handle complex repairs to ensure guests enjoy the mountain lifestyle.

The role emphasizes technical skill, product knowledge, and strong guest service. This position offers commission and a free ski pass, plus extensive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong ski or snowboard background and love for the sport.
• Self-motivated, able to multitask, and detail oriented.
• Comfortable with POS systems.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Eagerness to learn – training offered.

Responsibilities

• Build trust with guests by providing accurate information and excellent service.
• Assess when skis or snowboards need tuning or repair and recommend the best service option.
• Perform ski and snowboard tuning: sharpening, waxing, mounting, drilling, and more.
• Maintain accurate pricing and ensure promotions are up to date.
• Keep the workshop clean, organized, and operating safely.
• Follow all Christy Sports safety standards and procedures in the repair shop.
• Monitor inventory and stay on top of industry trends and technology.
• Support teammates and pitch in with other duties as needed.
