Job summary

Jack Frost and Big Boulder Ski Resort is hiring for Ski School Support Staff for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. Starting wage is $20.00/hr to $31.00/hr with full-time hours available.

The role focuses on supporting ski/snowboard school operations, guest check-in/out, and children’s programming in a fast-paced mountain environment. Responsibilities include daily reservation processing, facility setup/teardown, health code compliance, and helping with activities for children.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in all aspects of English language.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, service-based environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Daily reservation and sales processing using resort systems.
  • Set up and teardown of indoor facilities with attention to detail.
  • Ensure health code compliance in all areas including common spaces and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly facility for high guest flow.
  • Work with young children to facilitate games and activities.
  • Wear a helmet in accordance with policy while on duty.
  • Uphold safety standards and contribute to a safe work culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Ski School Support Staff employees work in afunhigh paced indoor/outdoor environment supporting all functions of ski/snowboard school operations outside of instruction. The role has high guest interaction supporting children's programming, rental operations, guest check-in/out, lesson scanning, and lesson area lift operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Daily reservation and sales processing on our resort operating systems.

Daily set up and teardown ofindoor facilities, including work areas, with an emphasison attention todetail to present an area that is clean, orderly, welcoming, and conducive tooperatingefficiently.

Understanding of, and compliance with,statedpolicies/procedures relevant to health code compliance for facility cleanliness, includingcommon areas, toys, equipment, etc.

Ability to keep andmaintaina clean and orderly facility that accommodates daily high-volume guest flow.

Working with small children tofacilitateappropriate gamesand activities in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Adhere to strict corporate policyregardingwearing a snow sports specific helmet while skiing/riding, orassistinglessons, in uniform.

Understand, lead,and modelsafetystandards within the department for yourself and others; contribute to our culture of Health and Safety to meet Zero Workman's Comp safetygoal.

Perform other duties as assigned bytheSupervisor.

Job Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalentpreferred

Experience in a fast-paced, service-based environment

Fluent in all aspects of English language

Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Strong communicationskills with a wide variety of guests and employees

Early childhood care experiencepreferred

Ski or snowboarding experience toassistlessons as necessarypreferred

Successfully passthebackground checkrequired

The expected pay range is$20.00/hr - $31.00hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
