Job summary

Mountain Capital Partners is seeking a seasonal ski/snowboard instructor leader at Willamette Pass Ski Resort in Oregon. You will guide first-time learners and offer skill-building sessions while ensuring a safe, engaging learning environment on-snow throughout the season.

The role requires at least two years of instructor experience, 18+ years old, and leadership or team-building background is preferred; PSIA/AASI membership is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience as a ski or snowboard instructor is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least one year of experience in a leadership or team-building role is preferred.
• PSIA/AASI Membership in good standing is preferred.
• Must be available to work 4 days per week, including holidays and weekends.
• Position requires standing and skiing or snowboarding for extended periods in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of lesson activities while providing a safe, fun and professional learning and working environment
• Responsible for training and assigning work
• Create and maintain instructor schedules
• Handle general line-up, operations and on-snow tasks
• Monitors lesson groups to ensure quality and safety
• Complete daily reports for payroll
• Teach lessons as needed
• Other assigned duties
• Promote and emphasize safety in all classes
