Job summary

POWDR in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Sales Agent to support the Snowsport Desk at Mt. Bachelor. You will handle guest interactions in person and by phone to drive sales and bookings for SRS products, and coordinate private lesson assignments in Flaik with the Sales/Private Supervisor.

The role requires strong guest service and communication skills in a high-volume environment, with a welcoming, team-focused approach to ensure guests have memorable experiences on the mountain.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience preferred.

Position Summary

Sales Agents work indoors in a high-volume business environment at the Snowsport Desk in the Gateway Building and Sunrise Rentals. Sales Agents have high guest contact, requiring quality customer service skills, and must have the ability to work well with the public constantly, sometimes under stressful conditions.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities

• Interact with Guests in person and over the phone to assist in the sales and booking process.
• Have the knowledge to book all SRS products in RTP and assign private lessons in Flaik.
• Assist the Sales and Private Supervisor or Lead in assigning and adjusting private lesson assignments.
• Overall customer service for SRS guests.

Secondary Function

• Assist the Guest Service team in Gateway.
• Assist with on-snow needs to dispatch private lessons if needed.
• Demonstrate a "systems thinking" mindset and promote company-wide systems awareness to staff.

Interpersonal Contacts

Applicant must be able to work in a group environment both within the department and also the mountain as a whole. A Sales Agent must have strong guest service and communication skills to develop a working partnership with guests.

Specific Job Skills

• Technical: Have an understanding of our ability levels and what they mean. RTP and Flaik experience preferred.
• Additional: Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background check will be conducted after the position is accepted. This background check will be done in accordance with standards enacted under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Education/Related Experience

• Minimum education required: High School or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum time in related position: One year of related experience preferred.

Current Hiring Rate: $17/Hour

Minimum Age Requirement: 18+
