Job summary

Arapahoe Basin Ski and Ride School is seeking part-time Ski & Ride Instructors to teach skiing and snowboarding to adults, children and families in a high-energy alpine environment. Compensation includes a tiered staging program with pay progression based on PSIA-AASI certification levels.

Part-time starts at 20 days per season with an expected December 5, 2026 start date. Applicants should provide their own equipment and be prepared for outdoor, high-altitude work conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, teaching or coaching experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to multitask and work independently in a high-alpine outdoor setting.
• Minimum age 17 and weekend/holiday availability.
• Requires successful completion of a background check.

Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, and responsibilities. This would be a paid activity at an increased rate and would encompass heightened responsibilities.
