Job summary

Schweitzer is seeking a seasonal ski shop cashier and sales associate in Sandpoint, Idaho. You will process sales for ski and ride school lessons, tickets and rentals, and maintain accurate data entry in the POS system.

You’ll assist guests with product selection, schedule private lessons, and balance tills while delivering friendly, efficient service. The role requires good math and communication skills, a friendly attitude, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced mountain resort

Qualifications

• Minimum education: English reading, writing and verbal communication plus basic math.
• Previous guest service experience preferred.
• Ski and Snowboard experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process sales and order fulfillment through the POS system, including discounts and specials.
• Sell Ski and Ride School lessons, lift tickets, and rentals; schedule private lessons with staff.
• Assist guests in selecting products; complete paperwork accurately in the POS system.
• Balance cash and card transactions at end of shift; handle calls and inquiries.
