Job summary

WASATCH PEAKS RANCH – MASTER CLIENT is seeking an enthusiastic cook to join our culinary team at a ski resort. You will prepare a variety of dishes, follow recipes, and help with plating in a fast-paced environment.

Learn under experienced chefs, contribute to menu testing, and assist with events. Prior food service experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn is most important. The role requires standing and lifting up to 50 pounds and weekend/holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in food service is a plus but not required.
• Passion for cooking and eagerness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to established recipes.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, mixing ingredients, and plating dishes.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and restock supplies.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for efficient operations and positive teamwork.
• Assist with inventory management and food ordering.
• Learn and develop culinary skills under guidance of senior chefs, including knife techniques and menu knowledge.
• Contribute to menu development and testing of new dishes.
• Assist with food prep for special events and banquets.
