Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for Winter Seasonal roles including a Retail/Rental Lead. The position oversees high-volume rental operations, ski/snowboard services, and a team of up to 50 staff plus a leadership group. Strong guest service, coaching, and training planning are essential.

Starting wage ranges from $23.00 to $29.22 per hour, with full-time seasonal hours. Housing is not provided. Prior resort and leadership experience are preferred, with a Bachelor’s degree as a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years leadership experience required.
• 2 years in retail/rental preferred.
• 2 years resort management experience.
• Knowledge and passion for snowsports.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily rental operations and service for ski/snowboard rentals.
• Lead up to 50 frontline staff and a leadership team of 5–6.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and a strong guest experience.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development.
• Coordinate training plans and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Manage inventory, payroll, and cost controls for the department.
