Job summary

The Sturtevant's rental department seeks a capable Rental Supervisor to lead the Ski/Snowboard Rental team. You will oversee staff supervision, training, and inventory control, aiming to maximize profitability while delivering best-in-class guest service.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will manage daily operations, staffing, pricing accuracy, and store standards. This full-time role requires flexibility for nights, holidays, and weekends and offers a competitive hourly rate with excellent

Qualifications

• Strong ski and/or snowboard background.
• Prior leadership experience in ski/snowboard rental operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task.
• Experienced with POS systems preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the high-standard for guest service through personal behavior and leadership
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of products and industry trends
• Ensure staff members are trained and knowledgeable with proper binding DIN setting practices
• Ensure staff members are trained and knowledgeable with regard to proper boot fitting
• Ensure pricing is accurate and current, including any promotions
• Maintain store cleanliness standards
• Assist the store manager in monitoring and controlling the payroll budget
• Assist store manager in hiring, training, coaching, leading and maintaining a high-quality staff
• Assist store manager in administering company policies and procedures
• Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques
• Prepare, distribute and maintain company-required documentation
• Open and close store as required in absence of manager
• Other duties as may be assigned
