Job summary

Snowbasin Resort in Huntsville, UT seeks a friendly Ski Instructor to join our Snow & Ride School. You will teach groups and individuals, uphold safety, and create a positive learning environment for guests of all ages and abilities.

Experience with children and families is valued. As a PSIA/AASI certified staff member, you will stay current with training, assist in other departments as needed, and enjoy a part-time winter schedule outdoors on the mountain, delivering patient instruction and

Qualifications

Experience and ability to work with children and families.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Reliable, on time, and committed to working.
Be a registered member of PSIA/AASI.
Must be able to work outside in extreme winter conditions.
Patience and the ability to have fun while working with all ages.

Responsibilities

Understand and teach the NSAA Responsibility Code.
Instruct groups of children, adults, or families for the day in activities including instruction, safety, lunch, and events.
Responsible for individual safety and guest safety.
Attend mandatory training and certification sessions.
Act as guardian for children when needed.
Maintain professional environment and terrain choices for skill development.
Adhere to Ski and Ride School programs, prices, and lesson times.
Comply with employee handbook and procedures.
Maintain personal ski and board equipment in safe condition.
Provide a welcoming and safe environment for guests.
