Job summary

Snowbasin Resort in Huntsville, UT is seeking a part-time Ski Instructor to join our Snow & Ride School. You will represent Snowbasin on a collaborative team focused on safe, fun, and progressive snowboard lessons for guests of all ages.

The role requires PSIA/AASI Level III certification, excellent communication, reliability, and the ability to work outdoors in winter conditions. You will teach groups, support safety, and help guests have a memorable, quality learning experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and families.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable, on time, and committed to working.
• Able to work outside in extreme winter conditions.
• Capable of standing 6-7 hours per day and lifting 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Instruct groups of children, adults, or families in snowboard lessons and activities.
• Teach the NSAA Responsibility Code and ensure guest safety.
• Attend mandatory and certification trainings during the season to improve skills.
• Maintain a welcoming, professional environment and adapt to varying ability levels.
• Assist in other department duties as needed.
