Job summary

Aspen Snowmass is seeking Ski Instructors to teach skiing to individuals and groups of all ages and abilities, from children to adults, in Aspen, CO. You will deliver engaging lessons using diverse teaching methods while ensuring safety and a positive guest experience.

You will work with a team of pros, schedule lessons via the internal platform, and demonstrate professionalism representing the company on and off the slopes. Rolling applications accepted.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Documented experience working with children is required.
• PSIA Level 1 Certification or foreign equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of lessons to guests of all ages and abilities.

• Provide exceptional guest service while managing risk.

Ski Instructors will teach skiing to individuals or groups of all ability levels, including children. Ski Instructors utilize a variety of skiing and teaching techniques to meet the guests’ wants and needs while maintaining a safe and fun learning environment. This position reports to the Ski & Snowboard School Supervisor or Manager.

• This role typically pays between $32.04 and $56.98per hour. Actual pay will be dependent on experience and lessons taught.

Essential Job Functions

• Teach a variety of lessons, including group and private lessons, to guests of all ages and abilities
• Utilize a variety of skiing and teaching techniques to adapt lessons to the changing needs to the learner
• Provide exceptional guest service while always managing physical and emotional risk
• Work together with teams of instructors to organize and group guests according to individual goals and abilities
• Utilize Pro Card, the Ski & Snowboard School’s internal scheduling platform, to maintain an accurate work schedule
• Demonstrate expertise with poise in the interest of sharing your passion for recreation in the mountains and representing the company with the utmost professionalism
• Other duties as assigned
