Job summary

The Aspen Snowmass Ski & Snowboard School is seeking enthusiastic Ski Instructors to teach guests of all ages and abilities, including children, using a mix of techniques while prioritizing safety and fun on the mountain.

In this role you will report to the Ski & Snowboard School Supervisor or Manager. Compensation is hourly and based on experience and lessons taught, with a pay range between $32.04 and $56.98 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Documented experience working with children required.
• Level 1 PSIA Certification, or foreign equivalent, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of lessons, including group and private lessons, to guests of all ages and abilities.
• Utilize a variety of skiing and teaching techniques to adapt lessons to the changing needs of the learner.
• Provide exceptional guest service while always managing physical and emotional risk.
• Work together with teams of instructors to organize and group guests according to individual goals and abilities.
• Utilize Pro Card, the Ski & Snowboard School’s internal scheduling platform, to maintain an accurate work schedule.
• Demonstrate expertise with poise in the interest of sharing your passion for recreation in the mountains and representing the company with the utmost professionalism.
• Other duties as assigned.

Ski Instructors will teach skiing to individuals or groups of all ability levels, including children. Ski Instructors utilize a variety of skiing and teaching techniques to meet the guests’ wants and needs while maintaining a safe and fun learning environment. This position reports to the Ski & Snowboard School Supervisor or Manager.

This role typically pays between $32.04 and $56.98 per hour. Actual pay will be dependent on experience and lessons taught.
