Job summary

Jay Peak Resort is seeking a Rental Technician to provide excellent customer service while helping guests rent equipment for the on-mountain experience.

You will assist with boot fitting, mount and adjust ski/snowboard gear to manufacturer guidelines, and support inventory control. The role emphasizes friendly, accurate service and proficient use of a POS system, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Customer service orientation and equipment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with enthusiasm and determine equipment needs.
• Compute rental charges and tax for customers.
• Collect payment and ensure proper identification and deposits.
• Inspect equipment for damages and prepare for cleaning or repair.
