Job summary

Red River Ski and Summer Area is seeking certified ski coaches to deliver group and private lessons to adults and youth, both on and off the slopes. You will serve as a public face for the ski school, upholding safety and delivering engaging instruction.

You will operate under the teaching handbook, maintain a safe environment, and be ready to support other ski school activities to meet goals. Certification training is provided and reimbursement is available.

Qualifications

• Certified ski coach required or willing to obtain certification
• Strong communication and teaching skills
• Ability to create a safe, fun learning environment for all ages

Responsibilities

• Instructs group and private lessons, both adult and youth, as assigned.
• Represents Red River Ski & Summer Area publicly on and off the job.
• Follow teaching handbook to maintain safe, engaging lessons and class management.
• Ensure guest safety on varied terrain and high-altitude conditions.
• Instruct students clearly on skiing levels, both physically and verbally.
• Willing to perform tasks to help meet department goals

Essential Duties andResponsibilities

Instructs group and private lessons, both adult and youth, as assigned.

Serves as a public relations representative for the Red River Ski & Summer Area, both on and off the job.

Using our teaching handbook as a guide, provides a safe, fun learning environment through exceptional class management and creativity.

Uphold the highest levels of guest safety on varied terrain at high altitudes, with varying winter weather conditions.

Clearly and accurately instruct students on assigned levels of skiing, both physically and verbally.

Willingly perform any task outside the assigned job parameters, which may be required to help the Ski School Departments or Red River Ski & Summer Area meet required goals or standards.

Pay Ranges from 17.65$ -32.65$ an hour, depending on certifications and experience
