Job summary

Mt. Hood Skibowl is seeking a friendly Ski and Board Tech to help guests select the right equipment and size, set up gear quickly, and deliver standout service.

You will greet guests, size and adjust ski/snowboard equipment, and manage rental paperwork with accuracy. You will inspect gear on return, educate customers on proper use, wax and maintain equipment, and keep the shop clean while supporting inventory and safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rental paperwork is filled out completely and accurately.
• Inspect equipment upon return and place in the proper location.

• Wax and maintain equipment.
• Return paperwork when appropriate.
• Organize and maintain a clean working environment in and around the rental shop.
• Accurately handle all assets and perform daily inventory checks.

Job SummaryThe Ski and Board Tech’s main function is to properly set up the customer on the equipment size and type they selected in a timely manner while delivering a level of customer service that goes above and beyond their expectations.Essential Job FunctionsGreet guests and provide superior guest service at all times.Adjust ski and snowboard equipment according.Ensure that rental paperwork is filled out completely and accurately.Inspect equipment upon return and place in proper location.Educate the customer on the proper use of the equipment.Wax and maintain equipment.Return paperwork when appropriate.Organize/maintain a clean working environment in and around the rental shop.Accurately handle all assets and perform daily inventory checks.Snow Removal.Non-essential Job FunctionsAssist with boot fitting.Help out in other areas as needed.RequirementsMust be18 years of age.Must be able to deal with high volumes of people in a friendly, courteous manner.Binding certificationMust not be color blind.Have Salomon Binding certification or obtain before or on first day of work.Able to read and write in English.Able to work well with others in a TEAM environment.Able to lift 40lbs over your head.Able to follow directions given, properly and in a timely manner.Able to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work Holidays and Weekends which may include evenings.Must be able to stand entire shift.Must be able to kneel or crouch.Equal Employment OpportunityMt.
