Job summary

Valtris Specialty Chemicals is seeking a Process Engineer to develop and implement productivity improvement projects with a focus on safety, quality, reliability and cost reduction. You will provide technical resources to the operations team and lead unit process and product troubleshooting.

You'll work closely with manufacturing leadership to optimize process flow, improve yields, reduce waste and ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing/production and process engineering.
• Six Sigma experience highly valued.
• Motivated, self-starter with excellent human relations skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT).
• SAP Navigation and Power BI skills highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Manufacturing leadership and facility workforce.
• Provide production-engineering support to improve process flow, yields, cost reduction.
• Lead improvement teams, impact events and production analysis.
• Develop productivity projects focusing on safety, quality, reliability and cost.
• Implement and maintain production standards and quality control procedures.
• Prepare reports on production performance, including output, efficiency and quality metrics.
