Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a results‑driven Continuous Improvement Specialist to support manufacturing teams. You will train and coach cross‑functional groups in CI and Six Sigma, analyze downtime, and drive corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and process performance.

You will partner with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to identify trends, prioritize improvements, and implement sustainable solutions across the plant floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years in continuous improvement, process improvement, or coaching in manufacturing, military, or related environment.
• OR high school diploma with 3+ years of continuous improvement, process improvement, or coaching in manufacturing, military, or related environment.
• Experience with Power BI or related software preferred.
• This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and assess teams across factory functions for Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma activities.
• Analyze downtime data and validate production loss categories.
• Identify trends or recurring issues to prioritize improvement efforts.
• Investigate production floor issues and troubleshoot equipment and process failures.
• Determine root causes.
• Implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability, production efficiency, and overall process performance.
• Use working knowledge of production machinery to support operators in real time and stabilize production.
• Partner with maintenance, engineering, production teams, and IWG leads on continuous improvement initiatives and project workstreams.
• Lead teams in traditional industrial performance and engineering responsibilities.
