Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, NV is hiring a One-to-One Patient Observer to support patient safety under nursing supervision. This part-time role emphasizes vigilant observation of the patient and environment to prevent injuries while delivering compassionate care in a busy hospital setting.

You will assist the Registered Nurse with non-nursing tasks within your training scope and monitor for changing conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• The One to One Patient Observer assists the Registered Nurse in non-nursing tasks within the scope of training and experience and observes the patient and surrounding environment to promote safety and prevent injuries.
