Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager with a focus on sitework for our civil construction projects in the Greater Philadelphia area. The role requires coordinating with internal teams and external contractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of PM experience in construction, strong negotiation skills, and track record of cost estimation and scheduling.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, focusing on sitework.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, equipment, materials, and project management principles.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Strong quality control and safety compliance capabilities.
  • Ability to estimate costs and develop detailed project plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software and collaborative tools.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all stages of project life cycles from conception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.
  • Developing detailed project plans, schedules and cost estimates; coordinating with internal teams and contractors.
  • Conducting site visits and preparing status reports while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Negotiating contracts with external vendors to secure profitable terms.
  • Advising on equipment, materials, and processes for sitework and demolition projects.
  • Implementing quality control processes to monitor all project activities.
  • Identifying challenges and proposing effective solutions proactively.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and work collaboratively with a team.
  • A relevant degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
