Job summary

DePaul University is seeking a Sr. CMS Operations Specialist to lead enterprise Sitecore content management, governance, and digital production across its public web ecosystem.

You will work with IS project managers, developers, UX designers and content creators to optimize workflows, train staff, and ensure timely delivery of digital initiatives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Information Systems or related field.
• 5+ years hands‑on experience administering and managing websites within a native Sitecore CMS environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing enterprise CMS operations and large‑scale website initiatives.
• Experience managing workflows through JIRA and other project management systems.
• Experience collaborating with developers, UX designers and cross‑functional digital teams.
• Experience with information architecture, SEO, accessibility and web governance.
• Strong analytics using Google Analytics or equivalent.
• Experience developing CMS documentation, training and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead CMS Operations & Workflow Management – primary operational lead for Sitecore CMS, manage intake and execution of web requests.
• Sitecore Administration & Enterprise Website Management – support migrations, page development and optimization.
• Digital Content Strategy, Information Architecture & UX – advise on content strategy, SEO, accessibility and governance.
• Training, Governance & Continuous Improvement – develop docs, deliver training and promote Sitecore governance.
