Required TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II, and experience with iOS/Android devices. The role operates within a 24x7 mission-support context under SITEC-3.

Responsibilities

  • Provisions, manages, maintains, and tracks end user mobile devices for secure and non-secure communications.
  • Configures and maintains mobile devices and related accessories per DoD policies.
  • Maintains device configurations, including STIGs, and policy/configuration control.
  • Drafts policies and procedures, implements new mobile services, troubleshoots issues.
  • Provides training and resolves issues for customers.
  • Oversees day-to-day operations for campus SIPR kits and phones.

Responsibilities

Peraton requires Systems Administrators – Mobility to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3.This positionis located at Camp Smith, HI.The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, andultimately theend-user whooperatearound the globe 24x7x365.

The Mobile Device Support Specialist will support applications on mobile devices for a broad spectrum of mobile operating systems (i.e.Apple iOS, Android OS,BlackBerryor others asrequired). The Mobile Device Support Specialist shall plan, engineer, coordinate, and manage equipment installations on multiple impact levels and networksin order toconnect highly mobile and capable SOF professionals to the information they need.Responsibilities:

  • Provisions, manages,maintains,and tracks end user mobile computing devices authorized and assigned to individual personnel for secure and non-secure communications.
  • Configures andmaintainsmobile computing devices and associated auxiliary devices as directed by the Government andin accordance withapplicable DoD Cybersecurity policies, procedures, regulations, and directives.
  • Baselines andmaintainsend user mobile computing device configurations, including STIGs, andmaintainsconfiguration control and policy management of devices.
  • Assists the Government to draft mobile computing policies and procedures, implement and integrate new mobile computing services and technologies, and troubleshoot, repair, and provide logistical support for existing mobile devices.
  • Interfaces directly with customers to provide training and to resolve issues related to services.
  • Maintains mobile computing deviceutilizationhistory, including a review of device and service usage, audits, and reconciliation ofutilization.
  • Coordinates and manages accountability of new equipment, replacement equipment, and upgrades, and tracks the disposition of equipment throughout its lifecycle.
  • This role will directly oversee day-to-day operations supporting campus SIPR kits and phones.

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
