Job summary

Muller, Inc. in Manassas, VA seeks a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator/Foreman to run a small crew and operate excavators, bobcats, loaders and dozers on earthwork projects. You will grade, trench, haul, and coordinate with clients to meet project timelines.

The role requires at least 3 years of equipment experience, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license. A safety-conscious mindset and physical readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
• Ability to efficiently operate mini excavators, bobcats, full-sized excavators, loaders and dozers.
• Must communicate directly with client and manage crew members.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Current and valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, mini excavators and bobcats and manage a small crew daily.
• Install erosion control measures such as silt fence and super silt fence.
• Excavate for and build bioretention facilities, rain gardens, ponds, sediment basins and stormwater facilities/BMPs.
• Muck out and re-grade ponds.
• Shoot grades for stakeout and read/interpret cut sheets.
• Install underdrain on roadway projects.
• Complete other grading and excavation needs per client requests.
