Job summary

Muller, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator/Foreman to lead a small crew and manage critical earthwork tasks. You will operate excavators, bobcats, and related equipment to move dirt, grade sites, and support stormwater projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of heavy equipment operating experience.
• Ability to efficiently operate mini excavators and/or bobcats.
• Must communicate with client and manage crew members.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and run a small crew daily.
• Install erosion control measures such as silt fence.
• Excavate and build bioretention facilities, rain gardens, ponds, basins.
• Muck out and re-grade ponds.
• Shoot grades for stakeout and read/interpret cut sheets.
• Install underdrain on roadway projects.
• Complete other grading and excavation needs per client requests.
