Job summary

Qualdoc in the Southeast Ohio area is seeking an experienced Site Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse and field operations across multiple locations. This hands-on leadership role requires managing staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating temporary staffing to support busy sites.

Travel about 75% is expected to service various warehouse sites; candidates must have a high school diploma, forklift certification, and strong communication and organizational skills to drive

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory, or site operations is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and obtain certification if not current.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse and site operations.
  • Coordinate receiving, storage, organization, and movement of materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
  • Perform inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, tracked, and documented.
  • Supervise, schedule, and provide direction to warehouse personnel and temporary employees.
  • Coordinate staffing needs with temporary staffing agencies.
  • Monitor attendance, productivity, and work quality.
  • Train employees on site procedures and safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Enforce safety policies and report workplace incidents.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and moving materials.
  • Travel approximately 75% to support multiple locations.

Site Warehouse Manager

Location: Southeast Ohio

Salary: $42,000 to $46,000 annually(Depending on skills and experience.)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse and field operations across multiple locations in southeastern Ohio. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for managing warehouse operations, supervising personnel, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating temporary staffing, and ensuring safe and efficient daily operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working independently, and willing to travel frequently to support multiple warehouse and project sites.

  • Oversee daily warehouse and site operations.
  • Coordinate receiving, storage, organization, and movement of materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
  • Perform inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, tracked, and documented.
  • Supervise, schedule, and provide direction to warehouse personnel and temporary employees.
  • Coordinate staffing needs with temporary staffing agencies.
  • Monitor attendance, productivity, and work quality.

  • Provide updates regarding staffing, inventory, productivity, and site operations.
  • Travel approximately 75% to support multiple warehouse and project locations.
  • Work occasional evenings, weekends, or extended hours as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory, or site operations.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Experience managing temporary employees or coordinating with staffing agencies.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift.
  • Current forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills, including data entry and spreadsheets.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, email, and mobile technology.
  • Ability to learn inventory management software.
  • Experience setting up company cell phones, email, and applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Professional communication with employees, customers, vendors, and staffing partners.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 75%.
  • Ability to pass required background screening, motor vehicle record check, drug screening, and any site-specific requirements.
  • 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, or site operations experience.
  • 1+ year of warehouse management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience managing temporary warehouse or project sites.
  • Experience with warehouse or inventory management systems.
  • Experience in project logistics, transportation, industrial, construction, or similar environments.
  • Experience coordinating multiple sites or traveling project teams.
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Bend, reach, kneel, climb, and work in a warehouse environment.
  • Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.
  • Work in changing temperatures, dust, noise, and active warehouse environments.
  • Travel by vehicle and occasional commercial airline as needed.
