Job summary

US 1 Shorthaul is seeking a Site Manager to lead our customer distribution center, directing drivers, yard staff, and supervisors to keep freight moving safely and efficiently.

You will plan daily operations, enforce safety standards, manage budgets, and coordinate with the customer's yard manager to meet KPIs and service levels. This exempt, full-time role offers growth and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of transportation or warehouse experience with supervisory exposure.
• CDL required; 18 months tractor-trailer in last 60 months (12 in last 36).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily distribution center operations and staff.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and quality of service.
• Collaborate with yard manager to optimize moves and scheduling.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
