Job summary

Illinois Department of Natural Resources is seeking a Site Technician II for Lake Le-Aqua-Na State Recreation Area. Responsibilities include repairing gear, minor hydraulic work, operating heavy equipment, selling hunting licenses and camping permits, and maintaining site water facilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform semi-skilled maintenance and site operations at Lake Le‑Aqua‑Na State Park.
  • Assist in site construction and other projects.
  • Assist in implementing safety and security programs at the site.
  • Perform routine tasks related to outdoor recreation programs.
  • Maintain grounds; apply pesticides and herbicides to the grounds.
  • Maintain building interiors and exteriors.
  • Perform other duties as required within the scope of duties.
