Job summary

Trucent, Inc. is seeking a Site Technician to perform on-site fluid purification services with either a mobile purification system or skid-mounted module systems.

You will collect samples, run standard lab analyses, and perform routine maintenance while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution. Ideal candidates will have an associate degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years in skilled trades or maintenance, strong organizational and PC skills,

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in skilled trades or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample collection and standard laboratory analysis.
• Handle sump changes, oil skimming, fluid level adjustments, and chemical additions.
• Data entry, creation of daily work orders and equipment management.
• Internal reporting on fluid conditions, samples, and other customer related issues.
• Communicate with customer on fluids and samples via Trucent Ifluid Pro Program.
• Provide customer service, support, training, and problem resolution.
• Preventative maintenance, instrumentation calibration and equipment repairs on on-site equipment.
• Maintain customer history of projects performed on-site.

We are currently looking for a Site Technician that will be responsible for performing on-site fluid purification services with either a mobile purification system or via temporary installation of skid mounted module systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample collection and standard laboratory analysis.
• Handle sump change outs, oil skimming, fluid level adjustments, and chemical additions.
• Data entry, creation of daily work orders and equipment management.
• Internal reporting on fluid conditions, samples, and other customer related issues.
• Communicate with customer on fluids & samples via Trucent Ifluid Pro Program.
• Provide customer service, support, training, and problem resolution.
• Preventative maintenance, instrumentation calibration and equipment repairs. (mechanical & electrical) on "Trucent" onsite equipment.
• Maintain customer history of projects performed on-site.
• Conduct physical inventory when applicable.
• Promptly respond to customer requests.
• Promptly respond to phone/email.
• Report on the status of the account to the Regional Operations Manager
• Perform other related duties or special projects.
• Comply with all aspects of the Trucent safety program, including but not limited to: hazard communication, PPE requirements and attending quarterly safety training.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics.

Qualification Requirements

Education:

• Associate degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience is preferred.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in skill trades or maintenance is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to apply commonsense to understand and carry instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in or from standardized situations.
• Perform the basic functions of arithmetic; add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Perform reading, writing, and speaking at an intermediate level.
• Requires strong verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work and interact with others effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform at level of quality required to prevent losses in cost, service, production and/or damage to equipment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Basic familiarity with PCs. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
