Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the oversight and operation of warehouse facilities and employees.
  • Define and develop material strategy within the Americas Region.
  • Participates in sourcing process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end of life management and product-line management.
  • Analyzes supply / demand requirements. Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools in SAP.
  • Supports planning of inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements.
  • Creates and manages the regulatory import and export strategy for North America to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and look for creative regulatory solutions to overcome trade issues.
  • Will be the North American import/export contact to support global supply strategy.
  • Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience, or advanced degree with limited experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience managing and improving supply chain data, information, and processesExercises judgment and independence in identifying next steps.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).
  • Solid foundation in Export Control and Compliance (ECC): ISF, SED, AES, HTS, Tariffs, ACE Portal, International Trade, & lead improvement activities
  • Solid understanding of concepts of inventory flow throughout the supply chain.
  • Strong understanding of concepts of inventory management and distribution planning.
  • Ability to develop and provide reports to satisfy ongoing inquires on inventory, capacity and product availability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate critical information
  • Good problem solving and reasoning skills to effectively deal with problems varying in complexity relative to job level.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • High proficiency with SAP, particularly Supply Chain/Materials/ECC transactions
  • 5+ years of Supply Chain Management experience (Receiving, Shipping, Inventory adjustments, BOM structures, Production scheduling, Import/Export)
  • 5+ years Material planning and/or customer service experience
